History

Beacon Dragway is a 1/8 mile track located in Paducah, Kentucky. Opening day is scheduled for May of 2013 and promises to give all racers in the tri-state area the means to race on one of the premier drag strips in the tri-state region.

Beacon Dragway provides racing for the following classes Super Pro, Pro, and Footbrake and will feature a 36 foot wide and 170 foot long concrete burnout and launch pad.

Beacon Dragway also features a state of the art timing system in place with scoreboards and illuminated towers. Other Park features include extensive parking with pit spot rentals, restaurant, beer garden, VIP suites, and nearby campgrounds.

Originally started as McCracken County Dragstrip in the 1960’s and then transformed into a private airport, Beacon Dragway has finally emerged by area developers Blaine Grow and Keith Murt. Opening day is scheduled for Beacon Dragway is schedule for sometime in May. The official date will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
